I'm so super excited that in about 8 weeks, I'm going to be a father. I've also been blessed with having a boy, its not that I didn't want a girl, its just that I've been a boy most of my life and I'm pretty good at it. I can teach my son how to grow up and play football, do up to 15 push-ups a minute, and even grow a mustache. You may think that its going to be hard work, and you're absolutely right. I've never been a father before, heck, I'm still learning how to be a husband. The good thing is that I'm growing a mustache, so I will have that extra power behind me.
One of my greatest and best friends had a baby yesterday, I don't know how he pushed the baby out, but I'm not asking questions. The baby's name is James Augustine,(Bo), and he's beautiful. When I was holding him, (the baby, not PJ), I realized that soon enough, I'm going to have one, and this beautiful gift will be mine and my wifes. I feel so lucky that God gave me this opportunity to raise a child. There's no words to describe the feeling of becoming a father, so I'll have to make up a word, AWESOMETASTIC!!!
Am I ready for the baby? If I wasn't, I don't believe that God would have gave me the responsibility of raising a child. I also know this, with a glorious God and my awesome wife by my side, there's no way that I can fail. If God believes in me enough to make me a father, then I believe in me. Thank you Lord for this blessing.
Until a million people smile, I will continue to inspire.
